Purchased by the Valley Railroad in Essex, CT, this ex US Navy 80 tonner was loaded onto a semi truck by Hulcher Derailment Services.
I was hired by Valley Railroad to assist in getting the locomotive ready to transport. Disconnecting traction motor leads, air lines, removing truck retaining clips etc.
