because that is the bell end of the pipe and its twice as thick so it would be really hard to break the end without the rubber. that and I only had 2 rubber peices haha

Wonder what the tire wear is like on a triple axle trailer doing multiple duty like this. I have used 22.5 triple axle configurations on compartmented tankers and lowboys, alignment and wear was a problem, not to mention it caused a lot of lag going around corners and curves.

you can secure it by passing it through the pipe but I dont recomend slinging it that way the chance fot the end of the bell or spigot end breaking off is increased. the pipe should be slung around the circumfrence in the centere of the pipe which supports the wieght evenly and does not stress the pipe..To do this you need to roll it on a strap or have it on the trailer on dunnage..Hope this explains it well..

lol yeahh , here in my country they don't roll them like this... they attach each one to the bucket of the excavator and move them slowly so they dont risk.. :P

i dont remember alot but i think they pass a big chain through the pipe and attach it to the bucket and they do this for each one ;) you can do it with this chain in this video i think , try it and tell me what u think ;) i didnt tried it yet im still young to drive one :P

great video question you put rubber under the chain on one side but you didn't put rubber under the chain other side when you chained it down to trailer why not?

Really? That is just about how every joint delivered by the pipe company by Tractor trailer load is off loaded? They have a ramp type deal at the back of the trailer...Ill do a video and send it to you..What he did was not much diferent..
