Stupid theory on how Maya can also remember. She didn’t have the ability to remember at first until after she channeled Mia. Since Mia is a playable character, it must’ve stuck to Maya thereafter 😅 (I doubt anyone’s gonna see this it’s been a whole freaking year but thought it’d be funny)

since the Judge is the only one in the room who doesn't retain his memories, my head canon is that the time travel is not real, and Phoenix is either gaslighting the Judge into thinking he restarted time, or the Judge has Alzheimer and he happens to coincidentally forget everything whenever Phoenix scream Load

which is funny cause you don't even have to do it in spirit of justice and people do it anyway. turns out that game is super forgiving and sometimes you lose 0 progress if you game over LOL in fact, sometimes gaming over is better becuase you get ALL YOUR LIFE BACK!

I love how at 1:15 Phoenix tries presenting his badge. (The one piece of "evidence" you ALWAYS have on you yet never seem to find a use for!) I've been in this situation quite a few times where I was so stumped I threw everything at the wall until something sticks.

@@BuwakoBuwako i do press just to read the extra dialogue from curiosity but i generally try to search for what to present first and press if needed. I feel like the press mechanic to be broken and it saddens me most people just mindlessly press any statement. a lot of times on court, the judge and the prosecution warns to not harass witness and ultimately it changes nothing.

once you learn of this exploit, there's literally no incentive to use your brain to solve your cases, just keep loading until you present the right evidence. That was my experience with the DS games but i still loved the story so maybe it was just me being an idiot

I also have an idea: What if Phoenix Wright uses a Cheat code to solve the case in 1 day, 1 minute, and 1 Summation along with presenting evidence, so the Prosecutor wouldn’t have anything to counter-argue their statement? I think the first turnabout would be “Super Solved” and Phoenix Wright wins by 1 whole minute on his first case alongside Mia Fey. She say “Wow, Phoenix… How were you able to figure this out so quickly? I haven’t even given you instructions yet!” Phoenix replies “Actually boss, I used a cheat code to win this case.” Mia asks “A cheat code?… But Phoenix, this isn’t a video game!” Then he said something else after that, can’t think anymore now. 😀But that would be really interesting. Dyt?
