Hogs are not wild pigs, they are entirely different animals from a behaviour perspective. Panelling these mean wild monsters will get you disembowelled.

Sorry but you're wrong. I've paneled many a mean sow and boar that were much larger. I would be much more cautious with these guys though. Also, I'm 6'3" and 250 lbs. and in pretty good shape. I would never let my kids do it though. I have plenty of respect for the power in that neck.

I am hunter. We trap hogs sometimes too, when there is damage to property. There are so many better ways than this to handle loading them. You teach your twins cruelty to the animals and many psychologist will tell you, that there is only one step to cruelty to the humans left. I know they are dangerous animals and I understand your need to find solution to your problem. But if you do not know how to do this properly, please don't do it.

Pigs are very smart and love to eat , if they simply put food on other cage they will just go there. They can do that even if road isn't straight forward, pigs can find they way. I personally love them, didn't eat them, but understand that you can't just forbid IT. And sometimes boars makes problems and they must be somehow cared of, but this od disgusting. This kids takes pleasure from their screamings, piglest are just babies also and they scared, pigs communicate with each other by that, they have over 20 different sounds, and they even make themselves names. And higher squelas means higher fear. And if these kids have great fun with doing this to animals there is a risk they grow psycho.

adfontesaquarum Reading from other comments on other hog trap videos, the meat must be cooked to 160 degrees Fahrenheit to kill all pathogens, and can be donated to churches, homeless shelters, or to friends, but can't be sold in the U.S. due to USDA regulations. It can be sold to overseas markets IIRC.

These people do teach their children how to be cruel, when so young and they shall never forget it. There are wiser methods how to guide animals to wherever one want to lead them but one needs a little bit of higher intelligence and patience.

Carmel Pule' it’s not cruel he’s just poking them so they run into the cage. Growing up I was taught to shoot each and every one of those hogs no matter their age. These guys are simply loading them and A. Taking them to a secured hog reservation or B. Selling them to local farms to be domesticated and raised for meat.

When trapped and taken alive, they go straight to the slaughter house and processed for human food. These are not pets or live stock and it is illegal to take them anywhere but the slaughter house. Then the meat is shipped all over the world as a delicacy. Wild hog a very flavorful, lean, red meat and it is delicious. When you see a sounder, group of pigs, it the females and the young. When a male hog is old enough, they are pushed out of the sounder. A single hog is usually a big, mean, nasty tasting boar. The testosterone taints the meat. You kill'em and let it lie so they become food for worms, dogs, other hogs and vultures. In nature, nothing goes to waste.

The prohibition of pork in Islam is derived from the following verse of the Glorious Qur’an: “Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah.” [Al-Qur’an 5:3] Let us examine various aspects of this prohibition: 1. Prohibition in Earlier Scriptures Islam is a culmination of the same monotheistic religion that was revealed to earlier prophets. Although the Glorious Qur’an is the only revelation that is extant in its original revealed text, some remnants of earlier revelations can be found in the Bible. The Bible prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus “And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you”. “Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you.” [Leviticus 11:7-8] Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy “And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.” [Deuteronomy 14:8] A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5. 2. The Nature of Pork The main utility of pigs in the ecosystem is as scavengers. They live and thrive on muck, feces and dirt. It could be argued that in developed countries, pigs are bred in very clean and hygienic conditions. Even in these hygienic conditions the pigs are kept together in sties, and so the chances of them consuming filth are very high. 3. Health Aspects Research has shown correlation between pork consumption and several diseases. Eating pork can expose the individual to various helminthes (worms) like roundworm, pinworm and hookworm. One of the most dangerous of worms is Taenia Solium, which, in lay man’s terminology is called the pork tapeworm. It harbors in the intestine and is very long. Its ova i.e. eggs, enter the blood stream and can reach almost all the organs of the body. If it enters the brain it can cause memory loss. If it enters the heart it can cause heart attack, in the eye it can cause blindness, and in the liver it can cause liver damage. It can damage almost all the organs of the body. A common misconception about pork is that if it is cooked well, these ova die. In a research project undertaken in America, it was found that out of twenty-four people suffering from Trichura Tichurasis (another worm commonly found in pork), twenty two had cooked the pork very well. This indicates that the ova present in the pork do not die under normal cooking temperature. Pork has very little muscle building material and contains excess of fat. This fat gets deposited in the vessels and can cause hypertension and heart attack. It is not surprising that hypertension is a common ailment due to the prevalence of the consumption of pork. Thus the prohibition of pork in Islam is a blessing.
