Best reason to build a base: To help them test base building because it's still in early access. Once I figured out how the game works, I could gear up with the same or better loot than I had every time I died before I made it back to my base. So my lockers were full, but I never used the stuff. One day they will turn the loot frequency down but again, test test test!

It would be really cool to be able to flip the side that doors are on for walls, and also corner walls with doors. Round bases just look so much better, but for now you have to leave a corner open to place a door.

You didnt make mention of the 'Object Blocked" issue that builders face. Why havent the Devs fixed that? Its worse now with this new system. It happens now when placing stairs. The module even when green can become object blocked. How can that happen when the stair module hasnt actually been constructed?

I do have a question Loaf. How do you add another person to your claim? Another team member so he has access to my or his loot in the same base we built? Also help in base building when I am not around. I play a lot of PvE so this may not apply so any info on how to do it, even in PvP would be a great help.

Go to the plot sign and add them. The land claim is where you add base members

Loaf, thanks for great video. But I really hope devs will add way more base building elements in near future ? It’s so primitive right now . Also I hope they will give more freedom to pick place where to build the base…it’s way too limited right now. Let’s take sample Rust or Scum-you can build almost where ever you like and what ever you like and that’s what players need And last-devs really should open up the map and add more cave base solutions

Hey, I'm playing this game specifically for the pve, I'm not a huge fan of pvp anymore. Any chance you start up some hardcore pve server? Like really hard bots or something? Also thank you for all the content you've uploaded to this game so far, very underated game

@@popanda3652 interesting. Normally community servers with bot settings wound up and loot settings wound down are very quiet. Trolls don't last long there coz they constantly get wrecked by the bots and they get too frustrated. I use to have a server for a while that was hardcore, but discontinued it due to lack of use. Was fun tho. Now I just have my main server with ai set to 120% which I find nice (requires minimum 2 taps to the head to kill ai unless cq with shotgun or using the m99.

What bothers me the most in the game is the limitation of boxes. You should get rid of the construction of boxes, because I like to separate items and I don't understand why this limitation. Another thing is the limitation of construction items, it should be free within the construction area, thus avoiding the reduction of base perimeter fencing due to having reached the maximum amount of construction.

Besides skinning your items I'd say no real reason tbh just sell everything you don't wanna use and currently it's really buggy not being able to pick up base parts

Only base items bugged are the stairs. Everything else is fine to fold accordingly.

Be sure to get an "auto clicker" to farm wood, otherwise your finger is gonna fall off.

They definitely screwed up changing the base building and adding micro transactions.. if they are trying to copy rust then they need to allow modding. This update should have been bundled with a real content update. All this did was add 2 skins for a money grab and has wasted the communities time. The road map has been trashed to where we do not even know what's next.

And there are still plenty from the 2021 and 2022 road map that are not finished let alone the 2023... game has a very long way to go. And being in development for over 5 years already the outlook does not look good.
