a bit intense for a menu song but like the other guy said it might fit the vibe, i think itd be a good load in song for like the first mission or something, you spawn or a cutscene ends and that shit comes on and some action starts

You gotta remember that this is the type of sound you're gonna hear all the time when playing the game. This sounds too intrusive and too much. lobby music is as the name suggests, music you hear when you're in a lobby (when you are waiting for something) think about hotel lobbies for example. Im not saying create hotel lobby music, but try to strike a tone that fits the game's esthetic while keeping in mind which purpose lobby music serves.

needs work in multiple areas of mixing and the sound preset for the chords. and due to the panning from the phaser it sounds lower quality to me and personally isnt ideal for vgm music. but keep grinding more of this, good start.

This is not very good, its not mixed well, the 808 is a little bit too much for a "lobby music", and it sounds like something someone with 2 months of expericence would make. Edit: what would i sugest you to do? -Remove the 808 (it doesnt belong in a lobby music imo) -use a lofi drum pack -add a piano counter melody (something lowkey) -turn up the volume on the pads Thats basically what i would do

use reese bass instead of 808s, layer your pads and try and make the existing pad less harsh. Add some plucks or drones and u good

makes sense, i can make a counter melody with the plucks. the drone would be good in the place of 808s. thanks for the suggestion! edit: drone is now in place of 808s, there is a pluck countermelody, and the pads are layered.
