Because screamers and excessive gore are an unacceptably cheap ways to instill horror that get old very quickly. The best kind of horror is one that creeps in unnoticed, playing up on your own imagination to complete the picture.

If you're talking about the jumpscare face, they deleted it so it should be fine. :3 The screaming sound itself isn't gone, but that's there to notify you that the woman used her attack rather than to be scary.
