N K Brother, there is no such thing as Greek Orthodoxy. Orthodoxy is above all nations and peoples. Church may be Greek, Russian, Serbian or Romanian, but not the holy Orthodox Christianity.

My brethren, Sunday is and has always the first day of the week. The Sunday became the designated day of worship by one of the earlier popes in vatican Rome (this is documented) and they have acknowledged that the sabbath was changed to sunday. Ppl be aware of 2 things: 1) The Sabbath: the 4th commandment " six days shalt thou labour but on the 7th thou shall do no labour" 2) Know this, as it is written in scripture...those who have changed scripture, "a portion of yours from the tree of life will be taken from you on the day of judgement." Shalom.

The Sabbath was not changed for the Orthodox. Saturday is still the Sabbath and is the first service of the Liturgical week. It starts at sundown. Christians worship God on Sunday because it is resurrection Sunday. Every Sunday we celebrate Christ’s victory over death.

MY Friend you are sadly mistaken. Saturday is the Day of Rest, the Seventh Day of the week. Sunday is the First day of the week. Look at your Calander, every new week starts with Sunday, the first day of the new week and ends on the 7th day Sabbath. Preparation Day is Friday, do all your work on Friday. Please take into consideration that he is not part of the mindset in our country when it comes to pets. Here in the USA, pets are definately part of our families.
