Audrey Oulai I used synthetic hair. I kept it for a few weeks then got bored lol. And no difficulty removing (most of them just slid off) just take your time when unbraiding the ends and you should be fine ☺

They vary - I suppose from the width of a no.2 pencil, to a crayola washable marker 🤷🏾‍♀️ (on average).

I think for permanent loc extensions, a more secure method like interlocking or crocheting the extention to your hair would be better.
