There is no way to stop the violence. What we are witnessing is the "Behavioral Sink" of a culture that does not value effective coparenting that teaches their children respect, personal responsibility, values, let alone morals, and the fact there's consequences to one's actions. How do you change a culture where a "baby daddy" has multiple children with multiple females often starting in their teen years? How can this be a good setting to raise children? How do you change a culture where a baby momma has children with often times multiple men, frequently involving teen girls as "mothers" that can't support themselves let alone a child? Is the answer throw more welfare money to create more dependency without accountability? This is the result of a system that rather than helping a family out of a rough time created a serious sociological problem by throwing husbands/fathers of the home so momma could get a subsidized apartment, food stamps/EBT card, free medical, subsidized child care, with the only requirement these days is to work 20 hours a week. Many of this demographic have no desire to better themselves, and are quite content with the status quo. This scenario has replicated itself for how many generations now? This is not just a Detroit, or any city's, or a racial, or an ethnic problem. It is a serious fallout of a failed system that was created in 1964 by then President Lyndon Johnson's "War on Poverty" that has created this demographic that flourishes in violence, and dysfunction, with the only real accountability being Darwinian Theory. One of recent history's most used quotes: "you can't fix stupid".
