Have you heard the story of professional poll takers? Used to they would be contacted every 4 years, and as polls were conducted, told where to be in whatever town the polls would be taken in, and travel to take the polls. Now it's no longer every 4 years and different towns. They've been set up in permanent locations and the same people take the polls in the area they've been set up to live in. Polls are garbage either way. We're lucky it's never been more night and day between the two choices in lifetimes of everyone alive today. Certainly opposite of 1980 when the middle class of America was destroyed. When foreign influence had disparaged 75% of registered voter's into sitting that potus election out. Taking out Jimmy Carter, who also happens celebrate 100 birthdays on this Earth, the First day of October, and giving US another potus whose popularity put them in office. When the people should be comparing work history. Carter gave to others in everything he ever did, much like Kamala. Where Reagan only served his self awas a greedy bas*ard just like Trump. Reagan immediately changed the law giving Congress the ability to accept _unlimited_ Corporate PAC Bribes. With Carter trying everything to at least put a limit on the illegal bribes, but of course was unsuccessful. We had a very successful rise in the middle class that had risen every one of the 35 years following WW2. Since 1980 that has steadily declined. This and Congress's ability to play stocks, also given by Reagan then, are the cause of that decline I honestly believe. Hopefully with Jimmy's Huge Birthday in about 30 day's, someone from America would apologize for the way he was tossed on his ear after working so hard for the American people everyday of his 99 years and 11 months. Great guy much like Tim Waltz. I just hope America realizes it while he still alive. He was definitely the greatest president of my life.

Wisconsin never had been a swing state except in the last 20 years. However, I would agree that if Trump loses the popular vote by 15 million, but wins the electoral college, which is entirely possible, we would have to do something. Whenever the electoral college was close, the popular vote always had been too. Trump however, has lost by 5 million in 2016, and 10 million in 2020. If it goes higher this time, which there is no reason not to, there’s no justification for it anymore.

It also reduces inequality and it can help reduce poverty and income inequality. It will also improve productivity. Fair wages can motivate employees to work harder and contribute more to the business's success. This can lead to higher-quality work and reduced absenteeism and turnover. Also, increasing wages would reduce the need for employees to need government assistance like Snap and EBT benefits. Now, of course there are cons to everything and with this there is no exceptions. The cons would be increased layoffs, increase cost of goods, fewer jobs for new workers, and lower work hours and possibly but not always an increase in unemployment.

Land lines aren't the only way to conduct a poll. Cell numbers get called, texts get sent out. There are online surveys/polls. None are perfect. But combine them all, across different polsters and the end result is surprisingly good for such tiny samplings. Polling ~1500 people out of 150,000,000 or so voters & getting within a couple percent is pretty good.

I think Phil Mattingly as Chief Domestic Correspondent for politics and legal analysis on CNN is 'heads above' Steve Kornacki on MSNBC. Kornacki's constant depiction of Trump as the frontrunner every time he's on the air, has lost me forever. It's not true, he's doing it to please his CEO and many of us could be bothered. Unimpressed to say the least. Phil does a great job of summing up everything we need to know. @@salter1630 Well, evidence shows electronics ect that are all imported are still pretty cheap. However, food items produced domestically have had the largest increases. Most of the costs are due to poor policy domestically in terms of compliance, taxes, inflation, and various fees. We absorb that as the consumer, therefore sources that don't suffer those added costs can produce cheaper so we buy foreign items causing domestic demand to drop causing production prices/products to become more expensive due to volume cessation. So a tariff would equalize that a little more and overtime would actually reduce prices by increasing production domestically. Those policies need to be corrected to alleviate those added costs. Like just baseline natural logic does it sound sane that I can mine steel in the us ship is across the world for processing and production then ship it back to us as a more fiscally sound action? That is because of Democrat policies for the last 40 years.
