Hello DXO Guru - How did you configured your Local Mask (Show Cropped Areas - Color overlay - Mask Color) at the Bottom Right of your Screen..?? Are you using a Different Version? I am an Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom user. I am trying out the Trial Version of "PhotoLab 8".

Capture One Pro has has a Luma Curve feature and a Color/Hue Mask feature for years.

This is awesome and so helpful. One question - the local adjustment controls (show masks, color overlay, etc) are at the bottom of the image viewer in this video. On my system (running on Windows 11) these controls are floating over the image and not at the bottom. Is there a setting to dock these controls?

And this is why I just cannot get on with photolab! I follow upto 46 seconds in but the menu below the image you have is no where to be seen on my computer so no switching to black & white here and I give up on yet another release of the software. Why do you show something that doesn't appear in the standard install and speak about it as if everyone will see it? I give up so quickly and yet I think there is something here I might like. I also think the implementation of the noise processing is lame - it's kind of we'll do it just trust us because it will be too slow on your image. I actually prefer to process in PureRaw then use my software (Capture One) to finish the image. Nope you've lost me for another year.
