You are 100% right. These snowflakes only complain about prices now when Trump get into office and not when Biden was overcharging everything the last 4 years. These tariffs will overall help us put more money into the U.S. economy, not foreign country's.

Really a political issue within Hawaii. Ask yourself why does hawaii not grow more of it's own food. Hawaii does not need to rely on either mainland, Mexico or elsewere. Hawaiian people need to look at their own politicians and monopolies. Look were the money goes for importing vs. Local farms. Has nothing to do with tariffs. Shipping?
@GluteusMaximus8084 сағат бұрын
As a farmer in Hawaii, I can answer that question simply. Middle man and politicians have a monopoly on the market/local farmers. Middle man will tell the farmer “this is what I will pay u, take it or leave it cuz I can get it cheaper from Mexico, Central America etc. so if you wanna grow things here, avoid selling them to stores. But that only helps out so much. Because again, the middle man will bring in containers of ur product, flood the market and completely screw the local farmer if you don’t play ball with them. By play ball I mean accept their low price offer. Farmers are the only people who pay retail for everything but sell at wholesale prices. From tractors to fertilizer, we pay retail for everything. Just to sell our product at a wholesale pre determined low price. It’s not about land. Corruption here has ruined farming
@ottifantiwaalkes92894 сағат бұрын
@GluteusMaximus808 that what i hear from farmer i buy from. And shipping companies take a huge chunk from locals. People need to start demanding politicians to cooperate with local farms or out.
