I like your style of food reviews. Everyone has different tastes. Watching such videos is more intuitive, instead of just saying everything is delicious.
IMO, Foo hing is overrated for most of their dim sums but their Portuguese egg tart is pretty good especially if you chill them in the fridge for few hours or overnight. The skin will retain its crispiness and the filling is like cheese tart. For high quality dim sums that matches or maybe surpass Hong Kong ones I d recommend Ming Room in Bangsar Shopping Complex and Xin Cuisine in Concorde Hotel KL. Both are non halal. Abit pricey but worth price.
Regarding the sweetness level for Portuguese egg tart Foo Hing VS HK KFC, I personal agree with Ms. GT. HK KFC Portuguese egg tart is sweeter than Foo Hing Portuguese egg tart. As a Malaysian, my preference is with Foo Hing although I haven't try any Macau original Portuguese egg tart. Others dim sum, I have no comment. ✌
Some Dim Sum are too complicated to make so the restaurants don’t make them anymore. The profit margin is too low to make them. It isn’t because they don’t taste good! You look good. I bet you workout regularly.
