Dude, been doing Baja since the 70's. Driving at night is very sketchy. With a boat, forget about it. Just edited, your comment about the people in the Baja is spot on. A little Spanish and respect goes a long way.

You were fishing and staying in Abreojos,and you were baiting in La bocana...you are showing some places as La bocana when it is Abreojos and viceversa.

Traveling that far towing ur boat, put some shockies on ur trailer, I'm from Australia and getting to the fishing spots even to the boat ramp the road is less traveled, long distances and bad roads (a lot of off road) best thing I did was put shock absorbers on my trailer, doesn't cost that much takes the bounce out of it, stops stress fractures and looks after your 100k plus boat,

Not having that thing bounce around for 600 miles doesn't sound like bad idea. Are you talking about torsion axles or piston shocks on the trailer?

+Michael Torbisco big bore piston shocks foam cell is what i have. but as they are in and out of the salt water all the time they only last around 4 years but once they are in and set up they are easy to replace.

Man the road grime must have been thick on her by the time you got there. Is there a reason you don't cover it?

We generally don't trailer boats covered. The cover can rub on the gelcoat and plastic and if dust gets underneath it can cause problems. For long hauls, we'll wipe the boat down with dish soap and let it try. Makes a slick film that helps the bugs come off much easier.

They fall is really the best time. Grouper and yellowtail inshore and tuna and wahoo offshore.
