Local Konbini Gathering: TE27 Levin, S30 FairladyZ, GC10 Hakosuka Skyline

I took my camera for a drive today and found these three certified JDM classics. The 1973 TE27 Levin is super tidy, the S30 Z is sweetly engineered, and the Hakosuka is, well, a Hakosuka!
This one totally just fell in my lap. I was staring at my monitor wondering what video I could make, because it's been a while... I seem to have the videographer's version of writer's block so decided to take a drive. Glad I did...

i love burger king Japan, my favourite was the avocado whopper. expensive but worth every penny. did i tell you that before? i don't remember. haha what a coincidence, i got a cheeseburger and a double stacker yesterday on burger king, i don't recall seeing a stacker on the japanese menu, do they exist? anyways, i'm glad you're enjoying your part time job. thanks for showing us great cars as usual, rusty or mint, a new video always makes me happy. have a nice day Daniel!!

No, I don't think you mentioned the avocado burger. I actually just checked Buger King Peru's menu to see what you mean by stacker. Yes, there are many double burgers here. Different ingredients to the stacker there though.

I think that is an original Toyota colour from the 70s. We had a Corolla KE 30 in that colour

I have just done some digging aided by a TE27 owner in Brisbane Australia. Turns out the TE27 was only available in "Haight Ashbury Orange" and "Tate Olive". Though, I don't doubt that red was available on other E20 Corollas...

Unmodied, old cars are extremely rare here, and some more than others. I've seen a couple unmodified Hakosuka Skylines. TE27 & FairladyZ's are almost always modded.

I want a TE27 so very bad but in the U.S. they are so rare now unless they are terrible shape and even then you're going to over pay. If I ever find one that maybe needs some light body work, even a little rust, and needs an engine rebuild but still has the engine, I will jump on it and take my time to get it going. But I am going to go out on a limb and say it's rather unlikely. I have my 80s Yotas already but I want something more round, but still very Japanese and very RWD.

Hi William. Sadly, my KZbin earning have been on the slide for years. Also about a month ago earnings for the majority of us creators dropped to about half. I have Patreon for people to contribute which has truly helped a lot. Anyway, long story short is that I'm a full-time English teacher, a KZbinr, and a burger hand at Burger King.
