Watching all your videos really makes me miss Indonesia. I just talked to my friend from Maui Hawaii and we will meet up in Bali next fall in November. It gives me something to really look forward to. Having that goal can get me through this next bush fire season. I start work in March? Why March in Alaska when there is still snow on the ground? We have to train other firefighters and also receive training ourselves as well. I wish we didn’t start until May when it’s warm out but we have to prepare.

I love those blankets or wall hanging items at the shop. I bought two of those in Bali in 2015. They were not cheap. I also went to a village in Lombok where they make blankets and I bought a single size and a queen sized blanket. I absolutely love their home made things from Indonesia.

Awesome Janine. I enjoyed watching this video. That green fruit you have seen on the way is used as a vegetable in India and i'm sure it's the same in Indonesia too. You can make really yummy dishes with it. And it's one of my favourites too. It's called breadfruit in English and Broodvrucht in Dutch.

Janine.. you have to go to Kupang, the capital of NTT province. Sumba and Labuan Bajo is only island in NTT. I did not see any youtuber went to Kupang. You can also go to Timor Leste from Kupang if you want
