Great video. LOF is one of the few accepted algorithms used to predict outliers in oil production data. I developed a tool with R using the Manhattan aproximación 3 years ago and the we move it to an R engine type software. It works like a charm

Will that work for both Numerical feature as well as Categorical feature?

It works for numerical features for sure. In my opinion it could work with categorical attributes too(label encoded) since this algorithm is very similar to KNN - however I'll be happy to get back on this!😀
