@EllisWR Modern areas in Baghdad are still with an Iraqi character, it's kind of a mix. I would like people to see the more advanced side of Iraq. Also there are cultural sites like Muranabi Street. I understand if you like more traditional areas but it would be nice to show the other side of society. You are doing a great job and as an Iraqi, I really appreciate it.

Food is universal, so many countries have the same dishes or just with a regional twist Ala the dolmades you ate. How did you come to meet your local friend who showed you around? Not sure if we missed a video on that

Yeah this whole region shares so many of the same foods! Bit random but we met on the Internet when looking for a place to stay in Baghdad cos it was pretty pricey. Then while we were in Baghdad we went for some fish together and we got on super well so ended up chilling together for a couple of days!
