the best item is the plate boots because then you cannot kill yourself with traps. Then you are pretty much immortal as conspirator or as trapper (unless you are stan who poisones himself by accident as soon as poison is being crafted , or unless you get teamkilled as conspirator, or you are guilty even as an innocent role).
