Big tourist companies in Amsterdam must be really glad with your support :D Anyways, tourists in a budget like me are glad to have some valuable tips from a local. I must say I went once to Heineken experience and I was quite disappointed. Would you know/ recommend any trappist brewery in Amsterdam or in the outskirts? And I'll definitely keep in mind the Micropia! Thanks for the tips.

Hahaha, probably not no, but they get enough visitors already. I'm glad you found it helpful! I can definitely understand you were a bit disappointed, it's such an popular tourist attraction in Amsterdam, that the authenticity is almost gone. When it comes to the trappist breweries: We have only 2 (of the 12 worldwide) trappist breweries in The Netherlands. They are found in the province of Noord- Brabant (the southern part of The Netherlands). One is Brouwerij De Koningshoeven: uk.latrappetrappist.com/gb/en.html The other is at Abdij Maria Toevlucht, called Brewery De Kievit: www.abdijmariatoevlucht.nl/en/portfolio/brewery/ I hope this helps!

Well, of course not during the pandemic, but I find Amsterdam to still be pretty nice, even though the city usually gets a lot of visitors. People will always want to visit Amsterdam, so it’s best to try to spread the crowds a little :)
