What I believe is that, ecologically, this is awful. One thing is paths for the people to walk for needs. Need to go to one village to another, or to go the civilization, or to the doctor, or to buy the food they could not grow. Once that need is no longer there, these paths just need to go, as they allow water and wind to erode the soil more profoundly. Has anyone check whether down the valley the soil is keeping up well with what happens up there? You are not doing this for creating any good to others, but to create a space for your fun. Nature should be left alone.
@tizzadh3 күн бұрын
I would like to know how you determine people's needs. Are you the only one who decides what those needs are? Why not go back to living in caves, hunting with your hands and using natural tools? After all, those are the basic human needs: shelter, food, and water. Actually, why are you even using the internet?

@@tizzadh Come on, modifying nature for fun in thousands of dollars bikes and equipement by a super company expanding right now like crazy and selling it as recovering all paths is pathetically stupid and it is just a try to sell us something when it is just the opposite. Go modify the desert or other arid areas where no vegetations is there. I do not know in the USA. Orbea performs these tasks in Spain, where it is phohibited and they get away with it because nobody finds out.

@@pabloperezgarcia8142 come on, stop speech ignorance. Is not prohibited, is not just for fun and nothing as you tell. Where is your house built? where are the roads built? You modified the nature also.

@@pabloperezgarcia8142 Hello Pablo, thanks for your comment. The groups featured in the video are totally independent projects that we support with part of the profits of our cooperative, with the aim of having a positive social (and environmental) impact. We say this because, in the case of MTB Kingdoms, they recover old trails already created for different historical needs. The other two projects, on the other hand, maintain and create a network of regulated trails, using techniques that respect the environment and collaborate with the natural development of the surroundings. In addition, all of them count on the collaboration of different local administrations. We invite you to learn more about the projects on their websites or on the Trail Tales website.

Hi @pabloperezgarcia8142, we would like to answer to you so that you understand the situation, since we believe that you are very wrong. We are located in Basaburua, a valley in Navarra which is at risk of depopulation, with a progressive abandonment of the rural environment. The mountains here are a way of life, whether with forestry operations or with the recovery and construction of trails. All this helps to fix the population, since jobs are created. All of these works are carried out professionally with the support of the administrations and local government, and Orbea has helped us in recent years so that we can improve the project. Maybe you don't understand it, nor will you ever understand it because you don't live it from the inside, but we believe that you are very wrong with your words. Perhaps you prefer that there be an abandonment of these areas, which would be more susceptible to fires and loss of the ecosystem? Come on, there are numerous studies that argue that these actions have little impact on the natural environment... erosion is minimal if the trails are well designed and drain water correctly. I invite you to research the topic, it will surely amaze you. All the best!
