Just came back from another Bahia de los Angeles trip last week. Had a blast! Great fish and a beautiful place. The grouper on my icon is from Bahia a couple yrs back.

Dammit guy’s I’m supposed to be servicing reels and upgrading the drag washers. I can’t look away. I’m working my way through the seasons and love binge watching you guy’s. Grrr, I’m not going to get anything done until I finish the Baja series. Ahli, you mentioned that the yellow tail are stronger that Andrew Jackson’s. I thought they looked similar, I just wish AJ’s tasted like yellowtail. Thanks for mentioning things like this. Rush or Ruchie mentioned “ball bat” snapper. I can’t remember if those were “Silk” or “Queen” snapper. If you ever see one you will understand that name. You could hold one with your hand around the base of the tail and swing it like a bat. I witnessed a “long-line” fisherman nearly kill a man with one about 15#.

Enchanted islands are are actually the ones up north by Gonzaga. From el huérfanito to San Luis those 5 islands are the enchanted ones. Amazing video though !

All the stories are true, was up there around the same time ali and rush were. I fished with Carlitos and James great guides we experienced an amazing yellow bite, Love Bahia de Los angeles.

You guys should go to Lantana Florida 33462 find a good hotel, head out of Boynton inlet (keep in mind there is a permanent bridge with limited clearance but you should be fine) before sunrise but before that I have a local to show you or tell you gps cordinates for a couple wrecks to slay some real amber jack 50lb+ and Goliath groupers bigger then VW beetles, nevermind the african pompano, and mutton snapper, cobia, king fish occasional mahi, on the wreck called Skycliff will put your gear to the test PROMISE YOU THAT, atleast give it a look and talk to any locals around that area if you know any, i guarantee they will vouch for the skycliff being home of the monsters!

thank you for replying man! you guys keep killing it, do you guys have any trips to south florida planned for the end of summer, when the heat lets up fish start chewing alittle harder, im in maine living the life here for now but planning a trip to my home town lantana for end of october, november time, woud love to go out show you guys some fishing grounds i grew up fishing on!!! ill even pay for your fuel! (i know its not cheap im preparred lol) if not i can simply just tell you where to head depths and whatnot and drift over reef wrecks exc.
