Thanks for another great episode. I continually marvel at the long time expanse between acceptance of offer and possession of keys. Added to that, it seems like it's not uncommon for the buyer or seller to pull out of the deal. I'm happy to not have that system where I live.

Wish they purchased the house Cody fell in love with. It had most of their wants. She was so happy. Dad was a real kill-joy😢. Painful to watch him squash her happiness. A lot of good choices in this episode. TFS ❤😊

I'm confused. Phil says the Worthing flat has 83 years left on the lease, and lenders won't lend on places with less than 70 years left on the lease, so there's a problem. But 83 is 13 years MORE than 70, so what's the problem?

If they want to sell in 15 years or so, it’ll be less than 70.

No and no. They are property finders, not estate agents at all. Phil was a property surveyor (I can't remember the UK term) as well before being a property FINDER.

In the UK things are termed differently, but they do do a lot of the same jobs as American real estate agents, sure.

Pointless comment. What has the mother's hair style or the father's reticence got to do with their budget? And you do know that TV footage is edited, right? Clearly the show wants to feature the daughter and her requirements not the parents, so the daughter gets the most on-screen time.
