What lovely couples. They were open to seeing different things and able to work out their needs and wants. So glad they were both successful AND they said thank you! I hope they live happily ever after and a dog got their furever home - a follow up would be the icing on the cake!

What a great episode. Both couples were in great and I couldn’t be happier to see both end up getting the places they wanted. Phil, I knew he would work his bit and made it work!

I would have picked the last house for the older couple. Much more manageable for them, and beautiful. The one they chose was way too big. They were dazzled by it. All I could see were how many rooms needed cleaning, and the pristine yard to upkeep. It was a terrific episode, both couples were lovely and Kirstie and Phil were their usual kind, wonderful selves. Thank you! Keep 'em coming!

Agree! As someone other chronic health issues myself, all I could see was the amount of upkeep! But then again, I guess if you can afford £800K you can probably afford a cleaner lol.

Was thinking the same. That 1st house was beautiful but would be a challenge for them in the long run.
@valynteena7 ай бұрын
I think they deserve to enjoy the 1st house now. I believe a few years down the line they can decide to downsize if it seems unmanageable.

I live in Ohio and have watched all the past episodes! I am so happy to see a new episode 😊 Kirsty, you are absolutely beautiful and I love your personality 😍 Very straight forward! My husband and I are contemplating a move in the next year and I would love to have your help with floor plans! You are very gifted in this area. Phil, I love how you try and tame Kirsty at times😂 You have such a gentle spirit about you. I also love your sense of humor 😌 Both of you are gifted and just lovely individuals 😍 I'm so glad I discovered your show. It brightens my day!

Both houses chosen were nice. For the younger couple, the 3rd house wasn't exactly turnkey but with a little TLC especially paint, rearranging furniture, changing the kitchen backsplash and doing up the garden, it would be perfect.

I hope this young couple can afford to maintain this home and pay the taxes etc. I don't know much about how it works in the UK but once the house is purchased in the US there are always many extra expenses like property taxes, replacing dying appliances, furnishing the home etc..
@myoldvhstapes6 ай бұрын
A UK mortgage has to be renegotiated every few years, the maximum term is five years. And a lot of people are in 'variable rate' mortgages!

330k for a one bedroom apartment is crazy this is why it's better to buy far away from the cbd its much cheaper and you get more land
@valynteena7 ай бұрын
And they were several bids hence they went above asking price. Personally I really liked the 1st house they saw at 300k. The bathroom was small but the house was nice on the inside and turnkey. It was simply 20mins from the beach which I can live with.

very depressing but.....my relatives in Poland had a house right next to the Warsaw ghetto with a printing press in the basement. they were contracted by Nazis to print the lists of people in the ghetto who were going to be sent to the death camps. sometimes they ,my relatives,altered the lists and blocked off children's names.the lists were given before hand and under the table to the leaders in the ghetto-to enable people to sneak their children out through the basement of that house- hundreds of little ones who were absorbed into polish families- is this the type of country we want? all of my relatives were shot as their system was uncovered. we should have protests everyday of our lifes against this tyrant. thank you for all the programming.

I'm glad the older couple were so pleased with their choice; it certainly wouldn't have been mine. Not only impractical but also stuck between two roads in the middle of an ugly development with commensurately ugly views from the upstairs balcony. Although it's hard to tell from just aerial film, I'd be surprised if it offered them the privacy they wanted.
