I just replaced my Bank 1, Sensor 1 on my 1996 Toyota Camry V6. The job should take only 20 minutes or less. All you need is a 7/8" Wrench by reaching in from the top between the fire wall.

Thanks. Did your P0420 code immediately turn off or not come back on after a reset? Also what is the culprit that causes these to go bad?

I don't think it was P0420, but yes, the check engine light didn't come back after I reset it. But, I've only driven it 10 miles since changing it.

@@speed3000gt it should not show po42o if it is 02 sensor issue only. p0420 is usually for catalytic converter. Only once in a while it is other way around :)

Mine said p2195 oxygen sensor stuck lean so I’m replacing mine today hope it gets rid of the code
