I've had mine for about 3 months now. Love it. I was thrilled when I discovered the zipping mesh pocket goes the entire length of the bag. It holds a lot of gear and never opens or dumps my supplies in my backpack. Its worth the 40.00 bucks because it's a life-time quality bag. Hope you enjoy yours!

I agree. I pay as much as I can possibly afford for better quality. If I can't afford it, I save until I can. It makes all the difference when you own good quality stuff.

I just watch you with Steve.... guys I have been watching you all for ever now.... I have few communications in instagram with Marty through my art postings and I do respect Marty a lot, I always like to watch Marty's reviews before I decide to purchase an art supply... And Steve is my goto to learn some details for my watercolor experience and it's been wonderful years... I am 61 now and hope to see you all for a while more... Initially I thought it looked so small, then you loaded it. We all know that we wouldn’t take that many items so there should we plenty of room for a mini set of paints and water brush. Loved the rain test. If it were raining that heavy we would just wait for the storm to pass. We are in a pretty severe drought so maybe I should buy one and sit outside with it. Always great to hear from you Essie. This is a good kit and will probably last me forever. I never new what Bartack was, I'm not into sewing, but I learned something new. I have a couple friends in Texas and they say it's been a long time since they got any decent rain there. Hope that changes soon.

@@owingsart on their website they have a journal cover, think it is tempting me. Guess I didn’t think much about a bar tack, I learned to sew at a young age. I was one of 4 girls. Our weather man said we had we had about 8 inches of snow. It was a big blessing hope it ends the drought here. I have been ill, hope to get back on my feet soon and do some painting soon. Marty, what size sketchbook do you think would fit in the little pockets where you put paint tubes in? One of the website photos shows it might be possible, just wondering about the size.
