Lock & Hide WhatsApp Chats Without Apps!

The latest WhatsApp update brings a new feature which lets you lock chats in WhatsApp without using any third party apps. This even hides chats from the WhatsApp chat screen and hides the notifications too.
This feature is part of the new WhatsApp beta update and is available on WhatsApp beta version 2.23.10.3.

For iOS users , you don’t use fingerprints on phones like the 12 , 13 and 14 , but Face ID , and on phones with home buttons , Touch ID

There is disadvantage here, The What'sapp lock chat is suppose to get unlocked with fingerprint but why there is given a option for pattern too? Like WhatsApp should have a seperate security and not the lockscreen password option.
