Preheat the microwave, then switch off the microwave and keep inside . If temp gets cooled again u can preheat again . Dahi pakke se jam jayga. I follow similar way even for fermentation of dosa batter .

Archana, aap ye kr skti ho. Kisi bhi bhagone me aap pani garam kr lena. Boil pani nhi par pani garam hona chaiye. Uske andar aap dahi jo jamana chati ho rakh k dhak dena. Overnight aapka dahi jam jayega.😊 Thandiyo k din me ye process try krti hu. Effective hai u can also try😊. Aur din me dahi jamana chahti ho toh dhup me rakh dena 2-3 ghante k liye jam jayega. Fir Jam jane k bad freezer me rakhdo😊 Ho sake toh garam pani wala process jo hai woh kitchen cabinet k andar rakh dena toh ac ka hawa nhi pahuchega.

Preheat your micro oven for 30 secs or 1 min... switch it off... Then put your dahi katori inside your micro oven for overnight.. my mom does in this same way...

Hi Archana, hope you are doing well. I also live in Dubai and have started setting curd at home. We use Amul milk available in tetra packs in Al Adil shop. It comes out really nice. I use casserole to set the curd and I keep it inside the microwave or a very warm place in the kitchen. So, you can try that too. I am sure you can Enjoy your Mishti Dahi using Amul milk.

@@archanaroy2807 Hi Archana, I wanted to pointed out that I keep the curd inside the microwave but don't switch it on. My mom told me to keep it in the place which is tightly closed. So, I prefer to keep it inside the microwave. Moreover, I keep the curd for overnight to set it at the right consistency. In the morning, if it's not fine I will keep it for 3 more hours and then keep it inside the fridge. I used Amul Gold milk with extra cream. I remove the layer of cream when I boil the milk. Try keeping it overnight, I am sure you will be able to set it. Don't lose hope. I have been doing it for over a month now everyday and I can't tell you how much my husband and I love home set curd. We have stopped buying store bought curd 😊

Hi Archana.... You can put the milk mixture in a glass bowl. take hot water in a bigger air tight container. Put the glass bowl in the container and close it. You can use casserole also if the size is ok. This is how I set curd. It takes max 12 hrs. I was also staying in Dubai. Try this method. And keep it in the sun that will also help.
