I appreciate that mate. Yes I think the trick to snap shooting is not to think into the situation too much. When you are on target within that first second then squeeze off that shot.
@salg59364 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've had similar hunts myself. I predominately stalk Sambar deer. I've generally got plenty of time to prep for a shot given the nature of the hunt so I've only ever had to snap shoot twice in the entire time I've been hunting. Made both shots and most probably both flukes but I can imagine the difficulty of being able to pull off the shots that you do time and time again, especially free hand in a kayak. Calm water or not, I still believe it's a difficult shot. One that I could use plenty of practice on...Just out of curiosity, what make is your silver/grey scope on your rifle? I've never seen one in that colour before.

If those pigs don't make good eating, they would make excellent catfish feed, once boiled down. Running a catfish pond farm in pig country, would mean no food bills from the fingerling stage to harvest. Those dead pigs are worth serious money, and if I lived in your neck of the woods, I'd have dozens of pig snares to check every morning.

@zer0deaths8624 жыл бұрын
@@cirvi17 pig leather is actually very durable, about the same as cow leather except it's much more soft and easier work with, you can make holsters out of them but it won't have the stiffness of cow leather and may sag and feel loose, it's great for lining hard leather holsters, or making pouches and bags, or clothing, or knife sheaths, rifle slings, belts, lace etc; you can go the extra mile and use the bones for more crafts. Save and mount the skulls, make jewelry from the tusks and teeth, carve tobacco pipes, wind chimes and dreamcatchers, buttons etc;

It's called a model 1887. They make replicas. The Chinese one is about $300 and Chiappa makes a nicer one for around 1000 I think

Thanks Stu, that shotty is a mighty weapon. The pig at 3:20 just karked it like he had been hit with a cannon ball. Here one minute - gone the next! The grain growers are going to be mighty pleased to have your essential industry back in action some time soon. Stay well.

Yes mate that is why they call em SG's (Slaughter Gauge) so long as you hit em in the right spot.

Wild hogs on every continent are incredibly damaging pest animals. They actively destroy local wild life, property, and farm land. These animals are not good to have around.

Are you a wild hunter? Did you take the pig you killed? Or you leave it? Are you a legal officer? PLEASE ANSWER.

In Australia the feral pig is an invasive pest that threatens our native wildlife and flora. We are just hunters targeting these pests. We don't eat them as they carry diseases.
