I installed DC3 with the drone mobile and the alarm it kit all this with the T-harness THR N14 all this on a 2013 Nissan frontier sv automatic transmission but don’t work the remote start just the lock and unlock works 🥺🥺🥺 what can a do???

My qx56 2011 compustar only works for 3-4 days then stops working. The installer reset everything then push to start acted like fob had a dead battery but remote start worked. Again only for a few days the installer has had it back 5 times and can’t figure it out.

Does anyone know why the DC3 doesn’t start, and then flashes the lights 13 times? Doesn’t say anything about flashes above 10

Do I need a firmware to download and install on blade-al module? I have bought cm-x and found out that there is a thing where blade goes. Other question, can I install this sm-x on the 2008 subaru outback with no programming or firmware downloading and it will just work? Like, is it plug and play?

Yes the BLADE-AL requires a firmware download for the specific vehicle it is being installed into. You need an ADS-USB programming tool, and an account at www.idatalink.com to do the programming. No the system is not plug and play on a 2008 Subaru Outback, and as per above, you MUST program the BLADE-AL to work on this vehicle. You will also require an additional interface called an ADS-ALCA, as the BLADE-AL will interface with convenience features, the ADS-ALCA will interface with the immobilizer key. This is not an easy do it yourself vehicle, you should consult a professional installer and have them handle the install for you.

@@19Blackskills97 You can use the ADS-ALCA, if that is what you have. The CMX has an RS232 port (4 pin black port for connection of data to data compatible interface modules, such as the ADS-ALCA.

@@LockdownSecurity I didn't receive alca thing yet, but bc I installed product of omegalink in past, I have an omegalink loader that actually works so I installed software on blade-al for my GF's Subaru, and updated cm-x firmware to latest. And cm-x is only features thing. Nothing else I can do there. So I chose tb-sub software for blade-al and it actually tells me to install a dl-sub too which is doorlock something. Like to complete remote start solution all together what😃. And then it told me about extended programming so like going to the vehicle and connecting it to it. And then reconnect it to finish the program. I have no idea what connection it's asking but anyway. I'm learning about that. Actually I need to buy an antenna thing so I can connect the aftermarket compustar keyfobs. I can't do it now bc so many things are missing I need to order those. It only took one thing to install it on my crashed Pontiac g6 but Subaru damn if I choose compustar or firmtech it's asking a lot lol. Maybe should have to just go with omegalink again 😃😃 to make it easier like before! I Love this smart things that comes with it but sold separately unfortunately. Hope I'll do it so my GF will be happier 👍✊. Bc when she recently bought a car she said I want to remote start thing like I have 🤣

I am looking at the DC3 and can't find a t-harness for my 2007 Forester. How hard will install be without it?

Unfortunately no one makes a t harness for the 2007 Subaru Forester, this vehicle requires a spliced in/hardwired installation

For someone with understanding schematics is no problem, but it is a lot of work to prepare harness. Analyzing schematic you can make your own harness at home, just need all plugs.

I got a compustar immobilizer installed bybthe dealership but they wont tell me anything about the system is that normal?

No not normal, if you paid them for a Compustar system, they should be explaining how it works, and what you had installed.

@jeffbates7199 yeah I think I got scammed I paid for an immobilizer that was supposed to be a steering wheel password but at the end they didn't installed and installed one that I need to arm every time. That doesn't feels like a 3000 system

I have a 2015 ram 2500 and an ALCA. Ive programmed everything successfully and it will lock/unlock, however i get a tach sensing error with no start. I did the procedure where you start it and hold the brake, then push the remote button, and the lights flashed like its successful but it still will not start. Any ideas on what it could be?

Check to verify whether the system is in valet mode or not. If that does not work, try putting the system into voltage start mode or tachless assumed crank.

Does the cmx work with the oem alarm? So I can still use my key fob. If so what else do I need? The "alarm it" accessory, blade-al, and drone work without having to get a full alarm system with extra key fob?

Yes the CMX will control and work with, your OEM alarm. The FT-ALARMIT accessory pack is what makes the CMX a full alarm/start system.

What dc3 had loop cut for automatic transmission if its not for manuals ?

The DC3 was originally designed to work on manual and automatic vehicles, but then they decided NOT to support manual transmission vehicles anymore (around 2019 is when this was decided). The loop is still built into the product though. The next redesign, whenever it comes, on the DC3 will eliminate the loop.

I used to install compustar back in the cm3000 and 7000 days, the CMX claims to have lower current draw, would you recommend it for a weekend/second car where battery drain is an issue vs say an older unit? Would be great not to have to use the battery saver option.

@@-_Robert_- Only 2 milliamps, but I haven't installed a radio yet so that will probably add about 5-10. I haven't installed the system yet but I have a bunch laying around. I have seen cm7000's with a one way antenna add around 25 milliamps draw.

@@vipercrazy9910 2mA that's super actually, check with radio. 45-50mA over week could be a problem with low capacity battery. I never checked mine but, I hope for same result as yours.

Yes the CMX has lower draw than the previous CM7 controller, but, you will still probably need to use the battery saver features that the CMX provides, if the vehicle is being parked for long period of time.

Had CM-DC3 installed in my 06 expedition...can I just reinstall it in another 06 expedition without any programming?

You can re-install into the new 2006 Expedition, but you will need to reflash the unit to be able to program the immobilizer interface.

Do you guys sell a harness that can be plugged in to Connector CN10 (Lock Accessory Harness) in order to use Driver's door priority unlock on a CMX ? I would like to wire both my trucks doors to the Priority unlock and then my bed mounted toolbox would act like a passenger door. (Press unlock once, both doors unlock. Press Unlock again, toolbox unlocks) This will be on an older truck with custom wiring, mostly from scratch, and no Blade supported/hardwired install.

This Compustar/Firstech sure make things very difficult for the consumer and don't give them much of an option to choose since it's so damn complicated. Wish they just had a way of telling us which brains would be the best options for the features we want. instead they just referring you to a dealer. As it some secret alarm system directing us to Authorized dealers that are selling these alarms at outrageous prices. Compustar is pretty frustrating to deal with. Not everyone owns a Viper or Hellcat. They need to make these alarm choices more simpler for the average consumer so we can be knowledgeable as what is best for us and not the Authorized dealer who tries to nickel and dime you every visit. No answers straight answers from Authorized dealers and or Compustar or first link, They just keep referring you back and forth to each other. Horrible Alarm Company for the average consumer.
