Even when he described his story it seemed inauthentic. I knew from the beginning. The fighting was pretty lame too (I guess they were trying to be more family friendly). To go all those lengths when she could have just wiped them all out, meh.

1GateWay2Heaven She had most of the keys. They only had the fire key. The two keys that were stolen from her she got back. She could have literally just followed them to the cave killed them, the gate would have been open and all kinds of shenanigans could have gotten out. No reason for her to leave mid mission, especially when she wasn’t really threatened and had overwhelming force. I’m sure she at least had to see what they were doing with the body. But instead just abruptly leaves?

PippyCat When Gabe is introduced it is said that he is also new to Matheson. From what I understand about the race and gender keys, combined in the series to be the identity key, you don’t have to become an existing person, you can change your appearance into anything you want.

I knew gabe was dodge from the scene in the sea caves. He'd seen that door before. and dodge infiltrates the group as Lucas in the comics so replacing him with gabe made more sense and didn't need explanation like the comic does. I wish this show wasn't so tame. It was good, but i feel it would have been even better if they didn't shy away from the more violent aspects of the comics.

My prediction for season 2 is this: -They’re eventually gonna free the sane girl trapped in Erin’s mind -Dodge’s cover as Gabe will be blown -New keys -Eden (instructed by Gabe) will re-open the Omega door/Black door -Sam’s ghost will probably be referred to again -I don’t think Ellie will return -The kids are gonna invent a new key

my theory on the omega door: The "bullets" are other people's personalities and the bullets are them trying to break out of the "void" and them taking control over the others blodies

Also, u know how the bullets behave like lava, you know they turn into solids and that they also behave like some virus thing that needs a host to survive, well, they solidify into this special metal called whispering iron, also the same material the keys are made from, so this means that the keys existing were forged from this metal by the Locke ancestors I guess, so the omega key is probably the first og ones since the design is kinda simple, also this means that the keys are literally fucking dead ppl??? I love these series. It tickles my curiosity specially on the 1st half of season 1. But there were some scenes that are unnecessary and dumb. Like having conversation when instead they should have take actions right away before the fake Dodge gets up. Control Sam Lesser with the music box when they were held hostage. And other stuff. I hope in season 2 they will follow the original story which is more scarier. And not that predictable like in the last episode about Ellie.

I didn't expect Gabe plot twist at all. I kinda had a feeling that there's something iffy about him. But I expected it more in the form that he got way too interested in the keys after he initially found out that there was something magical to them. So that's why made himself close to Kinsey, it's to get access to the keys while using it for his own good. Well, he did do that but I didn't realise that he did it because he's Dodge.
