Personally I knew as soon as I saw the face changing key and knew that gabe was new in town that he was dodge. Same for them throwing out ellie. When they threw out "dodge" she reacted weird, and when bode came to check on ellie and her son ellie wasn't there. It's quite predictable but it's nicely predictable. Like I get more hyped and satisfied with these plot twists.

Gramps also said that many of those that had been there, had moved on. If I saw it correctly, it looks like Sam's spirit faded away. He might have moved on as well, seeing as he likely took Dodge's jab that he wasn't special in anyway to heart, and felt there was no reason to stick around.

@@annvillar16 Based on the first season, there's no real Gabe. If you'll look back how Kinsey met Gabe, dressed in a costume-- He's already Dodge at the time. Then there was a scene where Gabe told Kinsey that he was just also a transferee yada yada.. Still, there are some loopholes that can be made twists in the next seasons, too early to tell.

This 1st season is basically the first 3 volumes of the comic which has 6 in total. If you read the comics then you'd know they left alot of cool action scenes from the comics out. I loved watching this show until I got to episode 9 where they (Elli and her son) freaking "forgot" to take the shadow crown with them when they went to the keyshouse to seek for help. I mean common they take every key but not the crown... that's so unlogical. And then when they went back to get the crown THEY TAKE THE KEY FOR THE CROWN WITH THEM!? Nobody would be that stupid, stuff like that just makes me cringe and fast-forward to the end.

There are two reasons she might want that key: First, no one can trap her back there if she has the key. Second: She can let the other demons out of the door. I just finished watching season 1 and firstly may I say the writers of this are hands down amazing !!! Thank you so much for making such an incredible show !!! I have absolutely nothing to complain about except for Gabe !! I legit shed a few tears on the last episode. I loved him and Kinsey together why oh why did it have to end this way !!! Can not wait for hopefully many more seasons to come !! Why is it always the best series made by Netflix only have 1 or 2 if your lucky seasons??!!! Keep up the story writing I can't wait another year for a season 2 I need more now !!!

I loved the show... until it got to the last episode, it was so badly written. Ellie had the anywhere key but she decides instead to walk all the way back to her home with the key to activate the crown when the obvious thing to do was leave it with the lockers. And the lockers are completely fine with the fact that the crown and the anywhere key just vanished.

I kind of think that Tyler or Bode will grow suspicious of Eden or Gabe as they weasel their way into being bigger parts of the group. Maybe they will piece it together! Because it’s not too difficult to work out that Ellie goes missing right before Dodge attacks the house and they throw her out. Like, even when being unconscious seems a little too easy.

The second a saw Dodge unconscious I knew who it was. It was too obvious for me, so that ending was just annoying to me. It makes it hard to get excited about the next season because we just watched a full season and nothing positive really happened for the good guys.

I feel like I just watched the whole season and am just back to square one. if the real dodge had been thrown in there, and (the girl who became a demon when the door was opened, can’t remember her name) took her place, as the demon, that would’ve been a good ending. but this ending was not good. the bad guy one. that’s never a good ending.

I love the show! The suspense it gives as what would the keys do and how can they affect their lives. I have so many questions! One thing that bothers me is that there is no thorough explanation to "adults can't remember magic", i don't buy that crap. Also, it really bothers me that Ellie went on to her house to take the crown with the crown key knowing Dodge will be there. Ain't to mention, in the ending Bode said that "if I have the anywhere key" explaining that he doesn't have that key, so who has it? Please don't tell me it's Dodge again cause that is frustrating. Also, when they said that they didn't have any other alternatives, Ellie brought them all the keys that were taken including the music key, that one is so much easier than whatever plan they came up with. So, many mysteries unsolved!!!

There is actually no real Gabe. The whole time dodge was using the identity key and made up a new identity to become gabe. So gabe is made up. Hes not real. I'm actually SOOOOOO SAD! I loved Gabe 😭
