I had the same issue with one of retracts coming out and noticing hardly any glue on it. Also just wanted to let you know when I wired mine up. The retracts did not work so I had to bypass the boards on the wing and plug a Y harness and go directly into my retract channel on my receiver to get them to work. My spinner was not to tight where I had to trim it. Also I heard quality has always been an issue with hobbyking and I'm seeing the same thing with this airplane!

Unfortunately HK don't stock spare parts for this. Sure they have photos on the website of various spares but I waited over 18 months for a replacement cowl and eventually gave up on it. Won't buy from HK again.

As much as I hate to say it, it's one of their greatest weaknesses and it's been an issue for over a decade. I've also had wait for parts of planes for months and sometimes over a year to get them fixed, it's incredibly frustrating and I totally understand where you're coming from. Not all their products have this problem, but it taints their reputation regardless.

I have no idea why they don’t put Fpv cameras in rc planes like drones, all I’m doing is flying from a side view
@aussiercairspace15 күн бұрын
You can do that to any aircraft that will handle the extra weight. I personally enjoy flying LOS better because I get to see the plane I paid good money for and this particular plane is beautiful to see in the sky, so I want to see it and hear it. I have flown FPV with some of my other planes and wings, but I prefer to see the aircraft in the sky.

@ still, better to see where your going than crash the plane you paid for. And you can still hear it, and if someone builds an XF-84h thunderscreech rc replica with high rpm props your gonna hear it all the way😂

But I can see where I'm going. LoL. Also, landing a plane like this in FPV is quite hard as you need to have a really good sense of speed not to stall it. There are a lot of planes that are far more forgiving on landings and are better suited to fly in FPV, I just think some planes deserve to be seen when flown. Just my opinion.
