Locked On Tigers POSTCAST: Detroit Tigers SWEEP Cincinnati Reds | Tarik Skubal Dominates, 13 Ks

Detroit Tigers triumphed over the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday afternoon at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Tarik Skubal struck out 13 batters over seven innings, allowing just one earned run on three hits, the Tigers secured a solid victory with a final score of 5-1. Gio Urshela shined at the plate, going 3-for-4, and Zach McKinstry contributed a crucial three-run home run in the eighth inning. The Tigers generated twelve hits overall, including contributions from Colt Keith and Parker Meadows, who each knocked in critical runs. Despite a decent effort from Reds starter Graham Ashcraft, who pitched 4.2 innings and allowed one run, Cincinnati couldn't mount an offensive response. Noelvi Marte provided the Reds' lone RBI with a ground out in the seventh inning. Will Vest closed the game for the Tigers with a scoreless inning to seal the win. With Tarik Skubal’s dominance on the mound, the Detroit Tigers continue to show promise as they head into the season's midway point.

Great series, unfortunately I had to watch the Reds broadcast because Reds & Cardinals are considered regional teams here in Southern Indiana. Cardinals broadcast is decent, but Reds broadcast might be the most boring. Benetti has actually made me enjoy baseball broadcasts.
