Shirakawa Shihan is a great teacher. He has an enormous knowledge of the opponent's body and self-awareness. Perfectly instructs. His throws always seem simple and natural, and his opponent is completely passive. But Koketsu Sensei analyzes all of Shirakawa Shihan's actions beautifully. This collaboration is great to watch.
I was learning kenpo kung fu when I was 11. the instructor chose me to demonstrate a knife defense technique which was a poor choice. I discovered that I was able to get through his defense every time because I was faster than him. he said fast as you can. I was not impressed at all and promptly quit. once my blade is in ones liver it really don't matter what they do because that's a death wound. I suppose an opponent may live long enough to disarm me possibly kill me with said blade but we die together. I suspect had I known how to wrestle at that time I'd made a pretzel out of the man. I know there is a kenpo karate but I'm unfamiliar with it.
