Alisha did the ABSOLUTE correct thing by getting out of that car asap! You are in another country, don’t speak the language, and two men get into a fight in the front seat of the car and you’re sitting in the back… Immediately get out of the car! No, ifs ands or but about it, just get out of the vehicle. And when grown men get into a fight, yelling at them to stop will not stop them! Men do what they want to do. I think Alicia‘s demeanor under those circumstances were best.

Hi Jasmine, I am leaving in Marrakech, and my advice for you is to take the official taxi : it's safe and practical. You just have to check that he is setting the meter correctly. And if you have any issues you can ask police officer. Kareem and uber are forbidden in morocco. By the way I love your videos and your vibes🎉❤

As someone who travelled to Morocco I went to Marrakesh and agadir I would recommend anyone to travel to Agadir as I find it more relaxed and chilled. Marrakesh was too overwhelming for me personally. ❤

Honestly Marrakech is not for beginners 😅 The taxi thing is an issue allround Morocco and has only gotten worse, but I'd say it's especially the worse in Marrakech. I think you've just been paying the drivers whatever they ask but legally they should put on their meters and charge whatever it says on there but no one does it. The meter is always broken or they lie that in the evening they shouldn't put it on. I think the competition with the apps has pissed off these taxi drivers and has only made the situation much worse. Survival of the fittest when it comes to these drivers lol. Marrakech is also a hustle, I don't think you went to djema Al fna yet, but that's a whole experience on its own where you'll get ripped off, possibly assaulted, treated rudely etc. And I say this as a Moroccan btw, Marrakech is just not for beginners and the light hearted ones. Shit always happens unfortunately. You dealt with the situation amazingly, props to you seriously. The police officer shouted at you because you were filming him btw. Don't ever do this as it is punishable, don't even point your phone or whatever in the direction of an officer. Many are on a ego trip here and have much power. I think personally you were put in jail because of this, you simply pissed the guy off. As Moroccans we constantly have to tiptoe around them too unfortunately.
