Girllll, vloggers always post the good side of traveling but visiting all these different countries with different languages and customs can sometimes be overwhelming. I experienced part of what you went thru at the airport in Malaysia. My Uber driver didnt speak much English and was on the wrong concourse so he told me to come to him and when i finally found the concourse he was gone. I had to pay a cancelation fee and wait on another driver who told me to return to the original concourse. You know I wanted to scream. Traveling is daunting but I love it❤

The best story time! Our children and I started watching you when doing research for Istanbul (we went, 2/10 stars)! And we were in Cairo the same time as you. I’m Moroccan and yeah the driving there is insane depending on where you are, the more touristy, rich and bigger areas have better driving but other places where it’s not as touristy and smaller the driving is not the best, glad you’re okay

I'm so glad that you're okay! The reason that the driver wanted you to come to the other terminal is for the same reason the driver at the mall was attacked. I saw this happen in Mexico. Drivers and passengers have been hit with rocks by Taxi drivers. My driver in Thailand had us walk 2 blocks from our ferry because the drivers at the ferry port jumped him in the past. My driver in Paris had me walk to the employee parking lot. We had to walk a block in Belize, the taxi drivers chased after us. Stay safe because they often pay to have a taxi or a taxi license and become aggressive being undercut by the gig drivers who work for less than minimum wage.

Wow, that's crazy about the taxi drivers. They're like that in Mexico, too. The taxi drivers attack Uber drivers. I used a personal driver my entire trip in Mexico. I use Careem when I'm in Dubai. Again, I'm glad you're okay 🙏🏾❤️ I mentioned it in my first comment 😊

In some countries, the people outside airports or around boats are really aggressive. For instance, they take your luggage and help you with it, then try to demand payment basically. Or taxi drivers trying to get your service. That really sounds crazy and scary, with 4 men kicking the vehicle. I've never heard something quite like that, that's very good for everyone to keep in mind because that would be shockinggg to have that happen on a trip~

That is so crazy!!! I don't know how I would've reacted. I Uber here in the states, and the foreign drivers are very aggressive!!! I almost had to drag this guy that was banging on my driver side window when we were ALL stuck in traffic up at the rideshare lot! I told him, "SIR! YOU HAVE 1 SECOND TO BACK AWAY FROM MY CAR!!!" ...I too noted that the interactions with men in African Arab countries were interesting, to say the least. Some were super rude and liked to argue and intimidate while others were very protective and upstanding. Stories like these just add to the experience. Enjoy!
