Cookie has a double meaning (or triple meaning) here. For Western listeners, it’s a sexual reference. However, in the K-Pop industry in Korea, baking a cookie means to produce a CD. It can also just mean make a cookie, which is likely how the youngest listeners in Korea hear it.

Ylva is the songwriter from whom ADOR purchased via a publisher in Sweden called The Kennel, the others are the ADOR staff that translated and arranged the song and composition. This is how much of the industry works. The meaning of the song is sexual. Koreans can pretend that isn’t true if they want.

There was a cultural barrier for the song "Cookie", it actually meant making a CD (album). If you get a taste of their music, you get addicted to it. Hence, the cookie turning into a cd in the MV.

They did say that since they are a girl group, it would be more appropriate for them to say “boy” rather than “girl”. It’s possible too that the producers intended for the song to have a double meaning. But since the song is in their native language and used native expressions, I think they meant for it to be more about their music rather than what foreigners might interpret it to.

Bro you gotta react to side b of the cool with you mv the story is so good In side A the girl with the black dress is supposed to be Cupid. She makes ppl fall in love (as you can see in the mv) but then she ended up falling in love instead, that's why she is following him around (he can't see her cuz she's Cupid) at the end when she took off the black dress and stood in the rain she was giving up her Cupid powers to be with him The rest of the story is in side b It's kind of a sad ending tho Plsssss react to it

"Cookie" is basically used to describe their Music, CD in particular (you'll get addicted once you hear it) If English is your first language, you'll Def feel diff abt it but half of the song is korean (and translation can often twist the meaning) Good amount of kpop idols and koreans in general are OBSESSED with this song so I really think good amount of literal meaning got lost in the translations. THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING... also I'll just explain Cool with you really briefly. Cool with you(the last song): The girl in black clothing that is seen observing others is "cupid"(the Mythology creature), and cannot be seen by other people. By looking at people she makes people fall in love but then she comes across the man who she observes everywhere, who she falls in love with, but he can't see her since she's not human. Along the way, New Jeans observe her. At the end of the video, she strips her clothing and makes a deal with some otherworldly creature that will grant her humanity, to let her be seen by others and become human, so she can pursue the man that she loves. There's more to the story in the second part(Side B Cool with you).
