If you just watch the highlights Newton and Murphy are very close. However if you watch the relentless nature of Murphy down after down after down it's not that close. I know he's not a prototypical NT, but he's absolutely a guy I'd love to see in stripes for the next 10 years

Ctb is a number cb point blank period, he played 60% because his rookie year he didn’t come in till chido tore his acl and last year he missed 6 games and didn’t rush back because the season was already over

I'm mentally preparing myself for just about anything. I can see the Bengals trading back in the 1st round and taking Ben Sinnott if they have him as TE1 and think he expands their offense. I don't expect any of these slender WRs like Franklin will be targeted. They obviously use WR screens in their offense and slender WRs can't block. Players like Sinnott, Legette, and Wilson will be targets in my mind. BUT.....I'm preparing myself for anything.

I hope the bengals take an interior defensive lineman. If we don’t take a defensive lineman, DJ Reader’s absence is gonna be significantly noticeable, if it won’t be already. We also could use an offensive tackle, but we signed Trent Brown for a reason and although he can get hurt and has had a history of injuries, I think that interior defensive lineman is a much more pressing issue.

Yeah, they're most expensive signing was a DT & the 1st Rnd DT are more similar to Rankins then Reader also they can throw more bodies at DT then OT. You gotta get the OT in 1st while you can if you like the OT available. If Fuaga or Mimms is available you gotta take 1 of them to me. But would not complain about DT at all should be some of the best talent they will be choosing from for a long time it a big descission might as well go with 1 of the big boys.

22:41 I’m confused by James’ response to Joe in regards to Emmanuel Forbes: “you already had DJ Turner.” Forbes was drafted 44 spots ahead of Turner. He wasn’t even available when the Bengals picked, so it was moot. But Joe was just saying the Bengals liked Forbes and weren’t scared away by his weight. What does Turner, who they drafted more than a whole round after Forbes was selected, have to do with that?

@@trevorshuck9919 Yeah; Volson is a "good character hard worker" type player, but come game day, he's a liability. Volson was regularly lying on his back at the feet of Burrow. Replacing him with a Cooper Bebee type player would be a great upgrade.

He is solid for being a 4th round small school no one can disagree with that but he’s a better depth piece. Draft a guy to compete with him in camp and pre season and let the best man play🤷🏽‍♂️

I believe team's put to much draft stock in the bigger conv compared to some of the smaller ones it's a double edge sword for 1 team's seem to look at the level of competition 2nd compared too the talent they play with also and it's not been the best 6 ys of drafting big conv players in the first rd for Cin's besides Joe & chase really since chase they haven't hit very good Dax- Murphy I always thought when taking players in rd1 they really need to hit more GM has been fired because they miss on there draft pick specially rd1

Think of the irony of what James is saying…Johnny Newton is more valuable than a stud top guard. I can’t assume that🤷‍♂️ It’s because of the Chris Jones and John Newton’s that you need top interior, offense lineman in today’s game. Guards are as valuable as DL and Tackles today. It was not having an answer for Chris Jones in the 2022 AFC championship game that stopped Joe Burrow. Stopping the interior rush absolutely can be first round need at 18.
