Nothing against Sheppard he is a good shooter, but Gobert was traded by the Jazz for a lot of picks. Draft Clingan and develop. You will be able to trade him for a lot more than Sheppard. Besides, the Rockets may desire to keep Clingan long term. Won't be an issue. Either the Hornets, Grizzlies, or Bulls will trade up. Then Rockets can talk about who to draft - Sheppard, Knecht, or Carter. Also, next year's pick swap with the Nets is very valuable. Should be a top eight pick. Maybe even number one.

Just draft Sheppard, the best talent in this draft. I’m afraid Hawks will take him at 1. He’s very perfect for our lineup. Movement shooter/off ball movement player in Sheppard is perfect for Sengun and Amen as playmakers. Sheppard doesn’t need to handle the ball as much just like Steph Curry. Sarr is a good but experimental pick if we ever have him or we can trade down somewhere to draft Knecht. But I’m really high on Sheppard.

Not sure if anyone really watched the playoffs, twolves and mavs have a solid 3 man front court rotation and if pj Washington didn’t cool off in the finals maybe the mavs would had been more competitive. Got to look ahead and see who can guard Wemby. If rockets draft Reed I’m hoping he can spot up from curry land and knock it from the far consistently, giving all the extra space for everyone else to cook. If anything both these guys might find it hard when switched onto luka, hopefully amen can stick on him.

I'll say this again, I'll put money on Clingan making all defensive team, before Sengun makes an All NBA team, why??? My biggest argument against taking clingan at #3 is he has the same agent as AL p so I doubt any agent worth their salt is gonna let both of his clients sap minutes away from each other especially with Al p nearing a payday. Great pod Jackson. 1st Gordan...unless he signs for the minimun let him find work elsewhere. he is washed up IMO. 2nd trade Alperen? absolutely not unless we are getting a top 10 player in the league in trade and Mitchell doesn't fit the bill IMO. I think the reason you hear a lot about the Rockets moving part of their young core is teams covet our young talent and are dying to hoodwink the Rockets out of one or more of them. a few of our guys not only opened our eyes, but they also opened eyes around the league last year. everytime you hear a trade proposal they always want one or two of our young guys for their scrubs. one way to know when you are drafting well is teams are after your players. 3rd the draft ....I said this before and I still believe it..... if Clingan is on the board at 3 the Rockets will trade the pick. there are so many teams interested in him that one of the offers is likely to motivate the Rockets to move in that direction. if Clingan isn't on the board at 3 there is still a chance the Rockets will trade it, but the percentage drops because the teams interested will drop. I think it's likely we be dicussing the results of a trade WED night.

I think it should be Sheppard. He is a potential elite shooter in the NBA. I think he would immediately provide that. Then possibly grow to more more than that if he becomes a big time scorer.

Go Rockets. I would rather the Rocket take either Clingon or Shepherd than trade down for Smart. Just bring EG back. He is a better shooter than Smart. EG is a great vet to have around. EG is also a solid defender., if he is motivated. Not to mention his ability to help with the point guard duty. I would love to have EG resign. Papa EG reunited with his pops.
