At this point it doesn’t even matter, if they don’t get one just use their first round pick on one next year . They got tools, great tight ends, both Najee and Warren can catch, Calvin Austin and van Jefferson are doing their jobs. It would be great to get one to free up George Pickens and give him more one on one match ups, but it doesn’t matter honestly.

Heres a good way to look at ..I would give a 3rd round for Slayton or Meyers and heres why...We all know as Steelers fans we need a slight better then average WR ...So we know most likely we would pick one in the draft with one of the first 3 picks because we always do right.?.. So wouldn't it make sense to give up a 3rd for a WR that is proven and also who is still in his 20s who isn't a one year rental..Someone who would be on the team for another 2 years...Calvin is doing what we all knew he could do if he was healthy and had a QB but Calvin is a SLOT WR..A SLOT WR..he isn't apart of the equation...We need a proven better then average WR as a #2:or #1 not a slot...THERE ISN'T ANY GUARANTEE THAT A DRAFT PICKS WILL WORK...like Rome Wilson who you lived soooo much during the draft Chris..lolol😂😂..I was on that Live boardcast saying Calvin Austin is our slot WR and we don't need a copy but Chris you were soo sure Wilson was that dude and he ain't...My point is give up a 3rd for a proven NFL WR and take the guess work out of it...Slayton or Meyers will be great because their proven NFL young Starters

We love Najee and i love the idea of signing him but remember we need to sign Russell Wilson, Pickens, Calvin Austin, Jalen Warren as well in 2025..Thats not including DB Jackson..I would only give Najee a 2 years 16 million dollar deal with a 6 million as a signing bonus...Thats 8 million a year...As you mentioned Henry only gets 8 mill, Swift get only 8 mill, Mixon gets 8.5 mill..So Najee should get around 8 mill himself..Now we all know some DUM team like the Cowboys with no RBs will give him 10 mill or more and he aint worth that...Drafting a big body RB aint hard and it can be done as late as a 3rd or 4th pick...I do wanna keep Najee just because i see him as a Steeler...
