If every drummer played like this, they’d never have a shortage of work. Rock solid pocket. Confidence and terrific tone. A bass player’s dream

Solid info for those that may not fully understand what locking in or being locked in means. Bass, Guitar and Piano is in sync playing at the same pulse, Thus no one is getting in each others way and the groove feels really good.... 💯

drums are ahead, bass is behind...that's why it feels locked this is a preference by any listener attack before tone. If they were really right together they're would be a phasing issue between kick and bass also the other way around bass ahead drums behind would sound very very bad.

Just remember that we are all sinners in our Father's eyes, Felicia. Prayer, repentance and accepting our God's mercy and grace are what the Bible teaches us to do as sinners. Be encouraged in His forgiveness as He died for us! Blessings!

new drummer. here - what's the reason drummers click their sticks and count off or in - before a song or a rudiment or explaining a drum beat. I notice all drum videos show the drummer clicking sticks before they play something. Ex: 1 2 1234 id think they be able to just play a paradiddle without the count. - please any help for why it's important would help. I suck so I feel weird counting before I practice. if that makes sense. thx
