solely because of you, I picked up Lonely Castle in the Mirror and read it over the past 2 days. just finished tonight,,,,, never has a book shaken me to my core like that. I struggled for like 20 mins to describe the book to my mom and express my emotions, but then I remembered this vlog. so I showed her the clip of when you finished reading the book and she finally understood LOL. everything you said perfectly expressed my feelings with the "HOW DID SHE DO THIS????" and "WHAT THE FCK???" in particular. wow. oh wow. Those feels after Lonely Castle in the Mirror made me add it to my list right after this vlog. I just bought The Anthropocene Reviewed yesterday and my local big kahuna bookstore has armchairs dotted around and after reading a chapter it reminded me of how present John Green's voice is in his writing. It seems like an arbitrary point cause it is HIS writing but he is really the only author I have that with, I automatically have his voice in my head when I read his books. Loved the dance segment and cat b-roll, one damn solid vid ally!!

when you film a cooking scene like the one from 2:11 to 2:44 do you keep the camera running even when you’re away from the counter for a few minutes? or do you start and stop for each task? it seems like a lot of footage to go through if you do it the first way, but a lot of touching the camera with cooking hands the second way.
