I say go for it, I cut my locs into a bob a few months ago and it looks more healthy and polished.

They look really beautiful. The layers look very nice. We tend to be microscope focused on our hair and that can cause us to become obsessive. It’s probably a good time to give it a break and ignore it for a while, maybe wear wraps and pretend the hair doesn’t exist for a while. One of the things about locs is that all it will do is keep growing. The bob will probably take away those beautiful layers and it won’t be short enough to be the one length bob, if it is it will probably be too short.

Thank you! 💖True we are own worst critic at times. One fell out in my hand so even if I was obsessed it clearly would happen anyway. Lol! Honestly I'm ok with it not being a one length bob with my layers wasn't inspecting that. I wouldn't care if it wasn't constantly happening and spreading all over. I would just consider staying the course. 10 or less maybe, but the number keeps rising so 🤷🏾‍♀️ maybe it's just what needs to happen.

Your locs always look great. Maybe think about combining all of your locs to create thicker locs as another alternative to the bob style .

Thanks, Michelle! 💖 That is another option to comb them out. I'm just not completely ready to give up on this journey 😕. So I considered the cut. I do think they look good I'm just over the ends falling out or becoming limp and thinning. So 🤷🏾‍♀️maybe it's a sign to cut the length. Bobs are one of my favorite styles so we'll see.

I'm experiencing the SAME issues! The only difference is that I started interlocking about 8 months ago and I'm thinking maybe that's the reason 😖. I've been cutting the weak ones but I think I'm going to just let them grow and do whatever they want at this point 🤷🏽‍♀️ lol

I have 2 locs like that as well. If it falls off I just said then I'll just let it lol. Idk why mines are breaking. I have fine hair my main 3 reasons I think smaller loc, edges ( ive had covid and baby around that time) or moisturizing shampoo maybe it's detangling ? Nice video whatever you decide you'll still look pretty ❤

Thank you! 💖 I appreciate you sharing that. I feel like it could be a number of reasons and just because I'm color treated may not just be it. Why I been checking my own health. Smaller loc definitely could be it on Fine Hair.

Dying & bleaching is very damaging to locs or hair period colored hair needs to be conditioned on a regular basis which most who have locs don’t want to do I dyed my locs 3 times in my 5 year loc journey but I use conditioner on my locs every 2 weeks I also only dye my locs my natural color

I've use conditioner since month 3 of my journey. It is apart of my regimen. Think it depends on your hair texture when it comes to color. Some can handle it others can't. Also how often. 🤔

@@IrisStyleIncmines got thin due to bleaching but with a lot of moisture and oil everyday and wearing wigs my locs got back thicker !
