I like the longer videos. Love seeing the trains move around and do their assignments.

I woke up at 5:00am EST and I'm not supposed to be up until like 6:30am so I turned on episode 1 and 2 for season 2 and had you going in the background while I played railroader before work lol. I just bought the track to Sylvia and had a load of cars to go out from the Whittier exchange so I had to relocate those to the Sylvia. Note for all, buy it when there's nothing in the exchange so you don't have to haul the cars AGAIN 😂😂

When I start the game I give Loco1 the .5 ton coal in the hopper and fill with water ... this allows it to move to the repair shed and then back to fill with coal under it's own steam. Leaves Loco 2 free to keep doing whatever else needs doing.

Excellent, another video to enjoy on a Friday evening. Your new series has encouraged me to play again, I cheat slightly with loco 1, putting the half ton of coal and some water into it before pushing into the shed, then I don't need to tow it out on day 2. I love the inclusion of the timetable feature, immediately setting up a run for every 2 hours from 6am to 6pm. I have no idea what was going on with the loco when hauling it out, but then I've never connected the air when moving it

As for the longer format, I'm fully on board with watching all the switching, it's only the road runs that can get a little tedious if too many are included

~30m length feel right to me. Less edit the better while explaining why you are doing a move. No reason to have a running commentary to fill the silence. Let the actions speak for themselves once you explain the move. Keep the videos coming.

You just had to release the brake in the rear loco. I guess shop crew sets the air
@KerboOnYT2 күн бұрын
3:04 brakes are released and I even bailed. There was still a brake application.

I wish there was more stuff in the Ela and Whittier area that you could do instead of having to expand to Bryson or sylva, more industries, which there are mods, but I don't really like tampering with games files.

I too enjoy the longer episodes. Has really relit my interest in the game. Played for about 3 hours yesterday

Prefer to see all the movement to be honest. More viewing pleasure for me and helps understand the issues you face, plus, it's less editing for you 😊

19:21 this move required AI to line the mainline switch, did he line it back for the main?
@KerboOnYT2 күн бұрын
Yes, the AE will put the switch back the way it found it
@billpaine62412 күн бұрын
Usually. I’ve run into a few situations where, for whatever reason, a switch isn’t returned to its original state. I think that happens when the cut ends movement straddling the switch, so in the next movement the system has reset the “before” state.
