I’m a mama of six little ones, and love our at-home lifestyle. I appreciate a timeless, classic aesthetic like you do, and we have other things in common like homeschooling, bread baking, and loving the Lord. 🥰 I’ve just been relishing every minute of your videos, and wanted to tell you that you’re doing a wonderful job. 🤍 Also, your wardrobe is gorgeous. 👌 That Son de Flor dress is stunning (as was the long skirt)! Please don’t take this the wrong way but seeing the inside of your cupboards and drawers being a little stained still after cleaning makes me feel so much better about mine! I always feel embarrassed about things not looking clean when I know I’ve cleaned them. I have an old house with an old kitchen and no funds to redo it yet. It bothers me that my drawers and cupboards are stained and old looking and it’s hard to not want the beautiful expensive kitchens everyone on social media always has. Thank you for keeping it real! I've decided sliding drawers are the best thing for my lower shelves too. Back corners are just not super user friendly and while I love the idea of a Lazy Susan, we all know there's that little unused space in the back corner. Um, no. Also, some of the newer cabinetry systems have the lovely square systems that pull out, but they cost the BUCK, so again, . . . no. Drawers like these are the way to go if cost is a consideration, and they're so effective. I always feel so good when I reorganize and clean out my kitchen. SO SATISFYING!! Also, I'm about to redo my kitchen floor with a similar tile to yours. I'm so excited for it to be done, because it always looks so great and I'm ready to say goodbye to my yellowed, fake parquet. Seeing your kitchen is an inspiration and a reminder of how great we can make our homes look and feel. Thanks for sharing good things/ideas from your life with us!

Your kitchen looks so good now that you've decluttered & cleaned it. I'm sure it works better for you. I myself don't care about my spices looking fancy. But my husband has been doing the shopping & he's been getting these small jars with black lids for the spices & I love them. So I told him to always get those kind & so far he's been doing that. They feel good in my hand & I already have 2 turn tables, so that works out well. I do take the pourer plastic thing inside out. I don't like them. So it's kind of a certain spices collection, but my own. I can put a different label on it if I need to! Your kids are getting so big & nice little helpers! I do need to go through & clean my shelves. I don't have a pantry, but it's just the 2 of us. I'm getting over a kidney removal. It wasn't working but causing problems, so my Dr took it out. I'm feeling better now. It's been 3 weeks now. So I can go back swimming! Thanks for sharing! ♥️☺️🫂🐾🦉🍄🧶🧵🪡🖌🎨🖼📚✨️

I read a devotion about valentines yesterday. It was talking about the pastor that did weddings even though they were illegal (Valentinus). I knew that part. What I didn't know was while he was in prison being tortured, and awaiting his execution, he prayed for the prison keepers daughter, who was blind, and she received her sight. And her whole family was saved because of it. It's rumored that he sent her a last letter before he died and signed it from your Valentine, which is where we get Valentines from. What love it would take to literally pray for healing for someone who's dad has you beaten and tortured and who has orders to kill you once he's done hurting you badly. I think that's about as close to being Christ like as you can get❤ Thank you so much for this video!

I am actively in the middle of reorganizing my partner's kitchen, since I'm moving in with him in a few months. It's definitely a process trying to find the right place for everything, not only because I am small and do all the cooking, but because my partner has ADHD and so everything needs to be done with the "path of least resistance" in mind so that he is more capable of doing things at home, rather than opting for convenience that is far more expensive. So far how things have moved around is working though, and I hope yours is as well!

Hello! Your kitchen looks great! You did an amazing job 👏. May I give you a suggestion? You can use wire shelves inside the cabinet where you are storing your every day plates and bowls to separate the bowls from the plates so that you don't have to lift or remove the bowls every time you want to grab a plate. They are easy to find and are sold in different sizes to fit inside your cabinets 😊

Dumb question. Why some Canadian/North American homes does not have fume extractors over the cooking top? What happens with all the vapor and smoke while cooking?? I can't think of a home that doesn't have one in Spain. Thanks! ☺
@alp95788 ай бұрын
To buy a fume hood from my local Home Depot costs hundreds of dollars, not to mention the cost of correctly installing it- usually the fume hoods I've seen in the states are for looks, don't even work properly, and just get very dirty if not cleaned regularly, so most people tear them out. Basically the smoke and vapor and everything goes throughout the house- I usually cook with windows open to circulate the air better, and if it's bad we open the doors too
