I enjoy using my very small fabric scraps to make quilted coasters. I do them all by hand so it’s also a fun little me time project. And for any scrap to small to be useable I shred it up with my scissors and make it into stuffing. No wasting our beautiful fabric!! 😍😍😍😍

Tie a piece of ribbon onto the safety pin and attach it before you sew the long seam. Then fold the ribbon down between the right sides just being sure its out of the way of your stitches. The ribbon should be long enough to hang out of the tube. Then when you've sewn just pull on the ribbon and it will turn inside out. In fact you can attach the elastic to the safety pin and the ribbon to the elastic.

You could learn to hand sew, it takes longer but works just as well! Or get a second hand machine, even just by asking friends or older relatives who might have one they dont use. Theres always hope!
