Hi Michele, from somebody that has worked many years in this business, there are clothes made specifically for outlets. The design team is the same as for the main line but sometimes they use cheaper fabric to make sure there is a part of the range where the retailers can sell at full margin and balance the lower margin of the range coming from the stores

Yes absolutely. I know many companies have specific products just for the outlet stores. I usually stay away from those stores unless I'm looking for something special.

I love that you buy items that I have never seen before on other KZbinrs. They all buy the same clothes and the videos become repetitious and boring. Love everything save for the beige sweater. You are right that it does nothing for you. And the cost is heavenly. It might be better in a smaller size but you might need the medium to go over big sweaters. Anyway, glad I found you. 💕

Hi Michele! I know you’re going to Italy soon, and we just left beautiful Roma. You talked about bringing linen in a previous video which is perfect, I would also add gauze trousers. The black dress with embroidery is gorgeous!!! But regarding the chest area - you can sew on a set of eye-and-hook closures down the front there! Then it will probably look really great anyway, and you can sew them JUST far enough in that you can still keep it open if you want to, but can also close it if you'd rather that!

Great purchases. The Khaite black sweater is gorgeous. The tan one not very appealing and the overcoat is gorgeous but far too big, get in a smaller size (much smaller). Because everything on it is exaggerated it doesn’t read as intentionally oversized, it reads big. Love your style!

I love everything in the haul, and agree with your misgivings. The Moncler coat with a bit of chartreuse…dying 😂 I agree with you on the Khaite cardigan, I think grey would be far better, the stone is very dour like you said. I also like the Khaite coat but it’s a weird design, oversized with cocoon shape and then slits which change the silhouette…? I was thinking I would sew up the slits and let the oversized cocoon silhouette play, but maybe a smaller size will achieve that. I can just imagine, “ Where’s my elephant, where did I put my elephant?” That would be me 😂

Re: Moncler I had a similar experience with a long coat I bought at Nordstrom. Sure, the reviews said it runs large, but being a size 6/8 in coats usually, I figured a size 2 in this coat would solve the problem. NOT SO. You could have fit 2 more of me in there and it still would have read as oversized. I brought it back in person, just to watch the woman behind the counter boggle at the 47 yards of fabric. 😆 There's oversized, and then there's absurd. I think Moncler accidentally veered into absurd.

Luxury is the best! Nice pieces. Actually, it seems you are smaller than you think and may want to size down because it looks like a better fit and more proportional on you. My fav is the black cropped cashmere sweater that looks stylish on you.

The Khaite button up cardi is not my fave. Maybe if you styled it with a longer white collared blouse, popped the collar and let the bottom of the blouse hang out with jeans it might look different.
