Hi Catherine, love your reviews!!! New subbie! It was your review on the small Loewe puzzle bag that convinced me to buy mine in the same camel color a few months ago. I now want to get a size medium for the winter and am debating between the black color and the one you have in this video. I just have one question, does the lighter color get water damage spots in the winter? That's the only reason I was going to get the black, but it just doesn't show the beauty of the bag design like the lighter colors do. Thank you!

Hi! I’m glad this was helpful 😄 no when I had this bag it had gone through rain (not a downpour but still) and it had absolutely no marks at all even after several years of me owning it. Don’t let water spots be the reason why you’d pick the black! I think the puzzle bags do look better in lighter colors other than black. Just my two cents… 😉 hope this helps! Hi Catherine, thank you for the review. I would like to check if there is any colour transfer on the bag if wearing denim material. There are 2 types of leather which Loewe offers, 1 is soft grained calfskin leather and another is classic calfskin . which one would you recommend for minimum maintenance and scratch resistance. Thank you.

Hi Zara, the one I have here is in the classic calfskin. The grained calfskin is more scratch resistant, but it’s also known to lose the structure more easily. I would still personally choose the classic calfskin over the grained calfskin, as you can see there’s really not much wear and tear on the bag. You can also watch my updated wear and tear video on my channel. There’s no color transfer of any kind.

Does the leather crease and leave mark of creasing after some time? Do you prefer the smooth leather or the pebbled leather?

I’m guessing you were asking about the top flap.. no creases there! I prefer the smooth leather because I think it’s sturdier but I also love the colors of the pebbles leathers (like the indigo with black leather handle has me 😍😍)

Hi! Is there wear to the ends of the handheld strap? (Like where the clips of the shoulder strap rub against the ends of the handheld strap when you wear this bag on your shoulder.) I recently bought this bag, but I've barely used it because I noticed that the shoulder strap clips always come into contact with the ends of the handheld strap, and I'm afraid that the rubbing will eventually wear away the glazing on the ends of the handheld strap. I'm thinking about returning this bag for this reason. 😕

Hi there, there’s absolutely no wear at all on the handle. Not even the part where I would hold with my hands. If you are just worried about the west and tear, you should keep it because my bag is still in a pristine condition (minus the sag that comes over time)! Hope this helped ☺️

Hey, love the review! Just a question; have you noticed any wear on the top handle from either perspiration or lotion on your hands? ie. Darkening of top handle over time with continued use? Would appreciate your insight, thanks!

Hello! There’s no visible wear on the top handle really, and I haven’t put any protection on it either 🤷🏻‍♀️ this bag’s wear and tear is the best out of all bags I’ve had so far. Hope this helps!

hey Catherine, I was wondering whether you feel the need to use a purse organizer for this bag in this size. I have one in black that I absolutely adore (and since I got it preloved, the slouchy leather made the overall silhouette looked more interesting!!) I’m still looking for ways to get organized with this bag though. Love your video!

Hello! Sorry for the delay in response, I’m currently on vacation 😅 I would actually recommend using pouches to store things (like mini pochette) over getting an organizer. Since the opening has the flap over it, I think if you had an organizer it may get really fussy for you to use the bag. I don’t have an organizer for my bag nor do I have a ton or organization in the bag but it’s worked pretty well for me so far. Hope this helps and congrats on your new bag 🥰🥰

I threw my basic necessities in a pouch one day, along with books and other stuff, and it actually was easier to find stuff without having to look inside the bag. Thanks again

Hello 👋🏻 it doesn’t leave any marks, but the leather does absorb the water. Some splash might be ok but I would say still try to avoid getting caught in the rain. Hope this helps!

Hello! I don’t recall seeing a serial number inside my bag, but I may be wrong. The authenticity card definitely has serial number on it though. I will check on it when I get a chance (currently on vacation.)

Great review but I came here to look at the bag, I feel like I only get a second or two view each time then the bag goes out of shot and I continue to watch you, the top of your head, and when you stand up, mostly your upper body. Would suggest the camera to show the bag more if you plan to do more review videos.

Thanks for the review! I just got mine (same size and color). Does it bother you that the handle is not straight? The metal sides are bend sideway. I noticed same on yours so I know I didn’t get a defect :)

Hi Rianna! I have to say at first I just thought it looked a little funny but honestly I haven’t really thought about since after the first week of use 🤣 I think it also helps with the sag since they made the metal this way. It definitely doesn’t impact anything on the bag so it doesn’t bother me!
